A good summer drink is closer to a drink that won't tire you out even if you hold a glass for a long time, rather than a drink that stays strong.

The moment it feels like a cocktail even without spirits

When rosé wine, elderflower liqueur or syrup, lime, carbonated water, and herbs come together, it becomes a summer glass with a low alcohol content but plenty of flavor. This is why spritz continues to survive these days.

new perspective

Spirit-focused cocktails aren't the only bar menu. Wine-based drinks with low alcohol content have the advantage of prolonging the drinking time and mood.

Practical method

Start with 90ml rosé, 60ml sparkling water, 10-15ml elderflower, and a little lime juice. Adding rosemary or mint makes the scent even more three-dimensional.

Things to watch out for

If you use elderflower liqueur, the alcohol content will increase, and if you use syrup, the sweetness will increase. Don't think of the two as the same material, but choose according to your preference.

A good summer drink doesn't beat strong alcohol, but has a light flavor that lingers for a long time.
